For years, active community members have noticed how much our
1- acre park has been used by the kids in our community. After extending an invitation to the kids to express their desires for the park, we received support from local operating businesses, city council, and town organizations to begin the redevelopment of our park. We are excited to assist in the removal and replacement of structures with more modern, safer, and engaging equipment.

August 2017

The younger crowd (PK-4th Grade) of our community gave us insight on their vision of the park. These included but were not limited to: bigger playscape, restored seesaws, updated swings, huge water park, go-cart track, beautiful landscaping, improved water fountain, and more. Understanding that the imagination of our children tend to be bigger than the realistic improvement opportunities, we look forward to collectively building a park that can be better equipped and utilized for the next generation, and their eagerness to dream and play.

September 2017

To fully capitalize on recreating a park that suits both children and adult community members, the goal was to raise $87,000 to fund the Milford Park Restoration Project.

The 1ST ANNUAL SALSA & SANGRIA FESTIVAL
was a major success bringing in $25,000

January 2018

Quickly, after the 1st Annual Salsa & Sangria Festival we were able to purchase and install a new playscape for the park by January 2018.
The new playscape is safe for all ages, and is even ADA certified.

As we move forward, with the Park Project benefiting the community members of Milford. Our goal is to beautify the park with functional accessories such as trash cans, benches, and landscaping. We also seek to restore the water fountain. All Proceeds of the 2nd Annual Salsa & Sangria Festival will attribute to this changes.

We look forward to helping benefit community members even more with different projects in the future.
